Artist Genealogy

– Early Life – Began to shape ideals of relationships (both good and bad), learned discipline, listening, a foundation of dance and social skills, and began to notice the qualities of mark-making in drawings as opposed to photos, influencing re-creation.

– Teenage Years – Dealt with dysfunction, making sense of familial and relationship “love”, how to be self while trying to please others. Fascination with words arose. Dealt with feelings of rejection, disgust, solitariness, honesty and how it affects relationships.

– College Life – Art history classes, discovering new artists, and visiting museums showed what can be done within a space rather than on a canvas, giving even more background for perception of art.
